For 2013, however, the Explorer is more powerful and appealing than ever before.

It's a given fact. Drivers are going to use different technologies (like their Smart Phones) when they're behind the wheel. That's why it's so important that automakers build gadgets that can keep drivers connected while also keeping their eyes on the road. That's one major reason Ford developed its SYNC system, which uses voice recognition software to aid drivers. Now, Ford is developing ways to make this and other systems in its vehicles more "social" by connecting them to Facebook components such as "Events."

After nine years of sponsorship by Dodge, Penske racing has decided to switch back to Ford sponsorship, which the group was under from 1995-2002. As team owner Roger Penske explains, "We appreciate the long-term commitment that Ford has made to Penske Racing and for their continued support of the sport."¹ Though Penske notes that it shared many memories and wins with Dodge, the team has decided to move its commitment back to its old friend, Ford.
